There is a light that will never go out...
It is with deepest regret that we announce the following death:
JACK KEARSLEY JAQUES KGCHS
Jack Kearsley Jaques, a former member of the London Oratory conference, died peacefully on 30 October 2009 at the age of 94 years. In 1965, along with a handful of members from other conferences in West London, Jack was inspirational in setting up the organisation that today is known as St Vincent 's Family Housing Association. This was a response to the growing need at that time for affordable housing for young couples starting out on their married lives. Jack was its chairman for 25 years. His funeral Mass took place on 20 November 2009 at the church of St Thomas of Canterbury in Sevenoaks. Jack will be remembered by many as an outstanding member of the Vincent Family. He was also a Knight Grand Cross of the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem. May he rest in everlasting peace.
