Calling all SVP Cyclists!
There are a number of cycling events taking place this summer which anyone with a bike and a bit of motivation can take part in!
50 or 100 mile London bike ride
We are looking for any keen cyclists out there to take part in one of two Do It For Charity cycles in London this summer. The shorter cycle covers 50 miles or for the more adventurous of you out there, there is the option of taking part in a 100 mile cycle ride. The event will obviously take a fair amount of training but should be a fun challenge for any keen cyclists among you and an excellent way to raise valuable funds for the work carried out by the SVP. For those who would like to take part, there is plenty of time to get training between now and the cycle ride which is taking place on the 20th June.

London to Paris Bike ride 
Following on from the success of last year's London to Paris bike ride, we are looking for riders to represent the SVP in one or more of this year's events. We are looking for adventurous volunteers to cycle from London to Paris connecting two of the worlds most chic cities on one of the best cycling routes in Europe! Cycling through beautiful English villages and into stunning rural France you’ll pass historical landmarks and famous battlefields from World War I until you reach Paris.
The the required sponsorship level is £1300 and a £99 booking deposit is also required. Unfortunately dates for May and June are now fully booked but there is a choice of three further dates available below:
Wednesday 14th July – Sunday 18th July (already 50% full)
Wednesday 18th August – Sunday 22nd August
Wednesday 8th September – Sunday 12th September
Last year we had three riders raising funds for the Society and we'd like to see more taking part this year. If you are looking for an adventurous way to raise funds to help support those in need and you are able to commit to any of the above dates, please get in touch.
