Get your boots on for charity! Leeds Sponsored Walk 2010
Join us for the St Vincent de Paul Society's annual sponsored walk this September and help to generate much-needed funds for St Jude's Furniture Store and the St Vincent Support Centre, which together provide support – in many different ways – to more than 15,000 disadvantaged members of our community every year. It costs around £900,000 pa to provide these vital services: we need your help, please, to enable us to continue this indispensable work.
The Walk will start from St Paul’s Church, King Lane, Alwoodley, LS17 5ES at 10.30am on Sunday 26 September (meet at 10am) and covers approx 5 scenic miles around Eccup Reservoir. The Walk is well stewarded, safe and family-friendly; the mixture of road and footpaths is suitable for all ages and abilities.
