SVP at Parliament

On 4th November, SVP representatives attended an annual reception hosted by the Caritas Social Action Network (CSAN), bringing together a wide range of Parliamentarians from both Houses of Parliament with members of Catholic Charities throughout the country.  The event was held in the River Room of the House of Lords.  Lord Touhig, the shadow spokesperson for defence, welcomed everyone to the House reminding them of St James' letter in which he warns us that faith without good works is dead.

New book!

We’re celebrating what the SVP does every day for people in need of help, in a beautiful new book called ‘Changing Lives’.

This collection of real life stories shows the how our members make a difference to the lives of vulnerable people and families. And it’s out now.

The 120 page full colour collection of warmth and wisdom provides over one hundred examples of how we’ve brought practical and emotional assistance to people at crisis point.
