Friends of St Vincent

By becoming a Friend of the St Vincent de Paul Society you can ensure that some of todays most excluded people are given a chance to have a better life while also contributing positively to the future of this work.

The Friends scheme was officially launched at the start of 2006, with the aim of raising funds and awareness about St Vincent de Paul Society and its work. It is ideal for members of the public who would like to support the work we do, but are unable to spare the time to become a member themselves.

Making a regular donation, however small, will enable the SVP to make a difference to the lives of people in real need. We rely on the generosity of people like you to help them. Your regular financial support can help us create lasting solutions to tackling poverty and building a better future for people in need. Here are some examples of how your donations would be used:

...would provide a hot meal for a homeless/disadvantaged person at an SVP Community Support Centre

...would provide a one-hour debt counselling service at an SVP Community Support Centre SVP delivery van that provides free furniture and household goods to those in need could be fuelled for 25 collections and deliveries

As a Friend of St Vincent, in addition to contributing positively to the continued work of the SVP you will receive:
