VINNIES' LUNCH

The Hall at St Vincent's Newcastle has become a place where everyone feels welcome to meet, eat and chat with friends in a warm spacious environment. Started in October 2017, we have quickly grown to feed around 125+ isolated and homeless people weekly. Through the FareShare scheme, the kitchen coordinator at Vinnies, and our dedicated team of volunteers, take care of collecting unwanted food from local supermarkets and cooking it into delicious and freshly prepared meals.

We have a dedicated team of volunteers on-site that provide table service and a range of services from haircuts, to housing advice and help with with benefits and/ or a listening ear.

    Thanks to you!

All meals are produced thanks to keen kitchen staff and volunteers who make use of your generous donations of fresh and tinned foods, and money for fresh meat. If you would like to contribute, please visit our JustGiving page.
