Furniture donation or

collection

The St Vincent's Centre is a charity donation and collection centre for unwanted furniture and household items, which are reused or resold.

Items donated to St Vincent's are either redistributed to those in need by referral process, as part of St Vincent de Paul Society, England and Wales (SVP). Furniture sold by our charity also funds the continuation of this service. We take various items and we request that your donations are in good enough condition to repurpose, fire labels are intact if applicable and/or there is scope to refurbish the items. We are currently accepting the following items:

  • Sofas / Armchairs / Suites
  • Beds
  • Wardrobes / Chests of drawers
  • Small electrical items such as lamps, kettles, microwaves
  • Dining tables / dining furniture

For items we cannot take, we recommend you try rubbish removal & reuse marketplace, LoveJunk. LoveJunk is free to use and helps you find an alternative reuse solution or, if none are available, a competitively priced, licensed waste collector. Enter referral code SVP2024 when booking if you do, so Love Junk can see you came from us and will make a small donation.
