St Vincent's Leeds community shop offers a selection of affordable second-hand clothes, toys, furniture, bric-a-brac, books and more. The funds raised will go towards St Vincent's Centre Leeds and our vital work supporting local individuals and families in need with food parcels, hot meals, toiletries, and other necessities.
The shop is run by a team of around 30 dedicated volunteers who give their time to keep the shop in order and welcome people to the support centre.
We rely on kind donations from the public to keep the shop stocked, any good quality used clothes, toys or bric-a-brac are always very appreciated.
We accept various items for our charity shop - we kindly request that all donated items are of high enough qaulity to sell on, be rehomed and repurposed! The following are very welcomed:
- clothing
- books
- bric-a-brac
- games and puzzles (please ensure these are complete!)
- toys
- soft furnishings
We will some times call out for specific iems via our newsletter or Twitter, too.
So long as your donations are made within the shop's opening hours, there's no need to call ahead.
However, if you're donating large amounts (mulitple bags and/or boxes), we kindly request that you phone ahead to ensure we have space for your items.
If you'd like to donate larger items (furniture, white goods, electricals) this can be arranged via our Depot.
Yes, we encourage it! Every donated item which is Gift Aided allows us to collect an extra 25% in profits, enabling your donations to go even further.
Ask our friendly staff and volunteers about GiftAid for more information and how to sign up.
