Each year we have to find the money to cover our running cost and that is why our volunteers are essential to us. We currently have over 20 volunteers whom without, we would not be able to function.

General Helper - Admin / Furniture Store
We are looking for volunteers to help our small team to prepare for deliveries of essential items to disadvantaged people in Sheffield. The role will include preparing cooking and bedding packs as well as supporting the staff team with general day to day administration.
Customer service and office adminstration experience is welcome but not essential. Warehouse experience would also be welcome but again not essential. Training will be provided.
Van Volunteer
We are looking for volunteers to help our driver team to make deliveries and collections across Sheffield. The role includes being on the vans with the driver(s) and handling furniture and other household items during deliveries and collections. You will be helping our team to furnish properties of disadvantaged people and also collecting donations from generous donors in Sheffield. The role also includes loading and unloading vans at properties and at the St Vincent's Furniture Project warehouse.
Warehouse and handling experience is welcome but not essential. Training will be provided.
Office Volunteer
We are looking for volunteers to help support out office team. The role includes answering the office phones, booking in collections of furniture over the phone and via email and contacting clients regarding their deliveries.
Customer service and office adminstration experience is welcome but not essential. Training will be provided.
eBay Administrator
We are looking for an enthusiastic volunteer to help us develop a new income generation project through eBay. This role will include posting and managing listings on the St Vincent's eBay page.
No previous experience is required as training will be provided.
