Join the Daughters of Charity and their affiliated charities for Vincentian Values Week., running from Monday 23rd – Friday 27th September.
This year we are focusing on the issues highlighted in the Vincentian Family Manifesto, published ahead of this summer’s general election.
These themes include:
- Supporting people seeking asylum
- Ending homelessness
- Tackling child and family poverty
- Improving inclusion and reducing isolation
- Ensuring dignity in care
We are delighted to welcome some wonderful speakers from across the sector, including:
- Victoria Firth, Senior Communications and Engagement Officer at Jesuit Refugee Service
- Alexia Murphy, CEO of Depaul UK
- Patrick O’Dowd, Director of Caritas Salford
- Mark Corea, Research & Policy Officer at Daughters of Charity Services
As always, sessions run daily from 10am, lasting for around 45 minutes and including both a presentation and the opportunity for Q&A with the speaker.
