Stealing Futures. In-work poverty and its impact on children and young people

 

Read more about the impact in-work poverty has on children and young people. We carried out research speaking with children and young people across the country to hear from them. 

“I worry that when I grow up I won’t find a good job, and that if I find a job that doesn’t give me much money I will be poor and homeless” (Boy, age 10) 

“Some families are very poor and don’t have a lot of money to buy food, even if they have a job. I worry about this and want to help them when I grow up” (Girl, age 9)
